Check out the latest happening in our schools....

Library News

As the school year winds down, we are busy in the library working on getting overdue books back to school to prepare for a complete inventory of our books that we will do over the summer.  Currently, our library software shows that there are over 200 books checked out that are overdue, totalling around $3,000. In addition, we have also learned that several books in the elementary library are being removed without being checked out first, which really throws a wrench in things.  With all that being said, it would be greatly appreciated if you took some time and looked for any books that your child may have checked out and may be overdue, or possibly not checked out. The more books we get back, the more money we will have to spend on new books for next year. As always, thank you for your continued support of our libraries at Louisa-Muscatine!

To assist you in getting your students mandatory state vaccine requirements completed for the 2018-2019 school year Louisa County Public Health will be conducting a vaccine clinic at our school. The Vaccine Clinic for 6th and 11th grade students will be held on April 25th. They will begin at the elementary at 9:00 then will proceed to the HS.

A letter and consent form has been sent home with your student.  If you wish to have your student vaccinated during this clinic, please have the consent form completed and turned into Mrs.Will no later than March 30th.

This is a great opportunity to get this mandatory requirement completed.

If we do not have proof that your student has received these vaccines by the first day of school fall 2018 they will not be able to attend until vaccines are obtained.
